I’m going back to school tomorrow so I won’t be able to record the tracks for Improv 365 in the mornings as I have been doing until now. I will instead record as soon as I can when I get back home. On weekends though I will continue to record when I get up in the mornings.

Improv 365 is my new project: I will be recording myself improvising on piano every day for a year. (Of course I won’t always have access to a piano so I may end up recording more than one in a day or going over the 365 days)

This project is not about perfection. In many of the pieces there will be mistakes or sections that I am not happy with. This is about seeing what I can come up with on the spot: no editing, no retakes.

I can’t wait to get going with this project!
